The L of B H… Bizarro Tentacles

Another new market popping up at the Library of the Living Dead, namely The Library of Bizarro Horror, seeks less than intimate trysting with Technicolor Tentacles for their anthology.  They want “bizarro” stories (they say to research what that is first) and are looking for stories in three categories:  1,500 – 2,000 words; 4,000 to 7,500 words; 7,500 to 9,000 words.  Consider this a horror pub with room for most styles including and especially dark and/or humorous.  The deadline is April 20th, and they appear to be a paying market, so get that research done!

Got a Little Culture? Chicago Style?

And no, I don’t mean deep-dish.  MAKE a Chicago-based literary print magazine has a call out for general literary fiction and the same with a humorous twist to it.  With another Tax Day deadline, that’s April 15th for the who’s who at home, they’ll take poetry, short stories and novelette’s up to 8,000 words.  The theme here is “neither/nor” although I must admit I’m not sure I get that one.
