After receiving his degree in English with a minor writing, Christopher accidentally found his way into the realm of IT. There he spent 17 years contributing his penchant for documentation and OCD for accuracy to a number of roles and titles. A jack-of-trades in the industry, he worked as web designer, web developer, content manager, trainer, systems administrator, tester, release manager and Quality Assurance manager. There’s also been contract work at places like Kaiser Permanente and New Horizons and a stint running a small web-design company in his home-town of Denver, Colorado.
Throughout those years at the corporate American grind there was always writing: policies, procedures, manuals, user-guides, project plans, executive reports and all manner of professional writing flowed from him. However, on the back-burner and set on low simmer, there was the dream—a full-time career in writing. Today, a wealth of poetry and short-story starts lay in wait for revision and submission. Christopher is now pursuing several avenues in the freelance writing arena. He’s putting together a movie review website called www.moviesworthalook.com with members of the Denver Writer’s Group. He’s also a member of the Rocky Mountain Fictions Writers association.
Christopher is a professional writer always on the lookout for writing, editing, layout and ePublishing gigs for people who need assistance. And he pursues these endeavors under the auspices of www.runewright.com.
